У тезах досліджено когнітивні можливості штучних систем у контексті концепції не-людського інтелекту. Розглянуто особливості функціонування штучного інтелекту, пов’язані зі здатністю до машинного навчання, оброблення інформації, розпізнавання закономірностей, роботи з природною мовою, прогнозування та виконання окремих операцій, що мають ознаки інтелектуальної діяльності. Визначено відмінності між функціональними можливостями штучних систем та людським пізнанням, зокрема за механізмами формування знань, характером оброблення інформації та залежністю від алгоритмів і даних. Обґрунтовано доцільність розмежування функціональної когнітивності та свідомості. Встановлено, що штучні системи можуть розглядатися як специфічна форма не-людського інтелекту, однак їхні когнітивні можливості мають визначені технологічні та функціональні межі.

Abstract. This paper examines the cognitive capabilities of artificial systems in the context of the concept of non-human intelligence. It considers the characteristics of artificial intelligence related to the ability to perform machine learning, process information, recognize patterns, work with natural language, make predictions, and execute specific operations that exhibit signs of intellectual activity. Differences between the functional capabilities of artificial systems and human cognition are identified, particularly in terms of knowledge formation mechanisms, the nature of information processing, and dependence on algorithms and data. The rationale for distinguishing between functional cognition and consciousness is substantiated. It has been established that artificial systems can be regarded as a specific form of non-human intelligence; however, their cognitive capabilities have certain technological and functional limitations.
