Дослідження присвячене аналізу процесів інтеграції відновлюваних джерел енергії (ВДЕ) в системи електропостачання міських мереж. Окреслено ключові екологічні переваги переходу на ВДЕ, а також їхній вплив на стале міське середовище. Розглянуто основні технічні виклики, зокрема питання стабільності електропостачання, потребу в модернізації інфраструктури та застосування систем зберігання енергії. Окрема увага приділена соціально-економічним аспектам переходу на ВДЕ, таким як створення нових робочих місць і покращення якості життя населення в умовах зменшення забруднення. Підсумовується, що інтеграція ВДЕ є стратегічно важливою для забезпечення стійкості міських електромереж.

Research on the special analysis of the processes of integration of renewable energy sources (RES) into the power supply systems of urban networks. The key environmental benefits of the transition to RES are outlined, as well as their impact on a sustainable urban environment. The main technical challenges are considered, in particular the issue of electricity supply stability, the need for infrastructure modernization and the application of energy storage systems. Special attention is paid to the socio-economic aspects of the transition to RES, such as the creation of new jobs and the improvement of the quality of life of the population in terms of reducing pollution. It is concluded that the integration of RES is strategically important for ensuring the sustainability of urban power grids.
