Based on the analysis of products in the area of financial management in the IT market, a conclusion has been made that the existing software systems offer an analysis of the financial condition of an enterprise for making routine decisions on financial planning. Such decisions frequently are not associated with the strategic planning of the company. The task of developing a diagnostic system of the financial condition remains substantial, this would allow not only to determine the financial condition of the company based on the results of its activity but also to generate some possible development strategies based on forecasts of the financial condition for the defined planning period. As the solution of the problem, an information technology (IT) diagnostic system for determining the economic state of a company is proposed. IT implements a financial analysis and generates the company development strategies. IT consists of seven main stages. The proposed IT diagnostic system will allow analysing the financial condition of the company based on processing a large amount of heterogeneous information, making forecasts for the planned strategic period, and choosing an adequate development strategy. Forecasts and the chosen strategy will be the basis for the development of financial plans as part of the company's development program.
