Анотація

У цих тезах розглядаються філософські концепти влади в романах Толкіна і сучасної письменниці Бранвени Ллірської. Показано, що ці концепти існують у рамках традиції, в якій владу розуміють як силу смерті, повністю протилежну людській природі. Показано також, що в цій традиції присутні елементи анархістської утопії.

Philosophy and mythology of power in the works of Tolkien and Branwen of Llyr

This thesis examines the philosophical concepts of power in the novels of Tolkien and the contemporary writer Branwen Llirsky. The thesis also shows that these concepts exist within a tradition in which power is understood as a force of death entirely opposed to human nature. The author also draws attention to the fact that in this tradition there are elements of an anarchist utopia.
