Our conference paper discusses the issue how to educate critical thinking under current condition of massive disinformation and misinformation. To solve this issue is vital in order to form necessary social resilience – both in peacetime and, especially, during wartime. To achieve this goal, we draw both current world approaches and our own perennial experience in educating critical thinking within the Ukrainian higher education. We conclude that educating valid critical thinking is the long-time process – from kindergarten to university. During this period, four specific stages must be implemented: introductory, integration, practical, and the generalized knowledge transfer stage. The final stage, typically occurring during higher education, provides an opportunity to complete mastering valid critical thinking but only under condition of proper contributions of the previous stages.
